Materials: Wood, metal plates, natural pigments.
Presumed seniority: More than 40 years
Mask of the Yaure ethnic group, from central Côte d'Ivoire.
Of ovoid shape, the mask is called "sun".
Soft and serene expression. Sculpture in a piece of wood.
The patina, predominantly dark and shiny brown, reveals many nuances.
A small metal plate adorns the forehead.
