ATTIC DOGON DOOR IN MIL - MALIThe carved doors of the granaries, constitute a very characteristic example of the symbolic iconography of the DOGON.
Worked in the round, these finely crafted doors transmit aspects of original and daily history through the representation of zoomorphic and anthropomorphic elements.
One can also notice on this door the presence of aligned characters representing tutelary ancestors.
