Kona Explosif Singlespeed Mountain Bike Frame 20"/Large V-Brake 26" Reynolds 853

Description

Listed is a used Kona Explosif mountain bike frame, which has been converted to singlespeed by James Bleakley of Black Sheep using stainless horizontal dropouts. It is made from Reynolds 853 and is approximately a 20" size: the seat tube measures 20" ctt, the effective top tube measures approximately 24" ctc, the actual TT measures 23" ctc, and head tube measures 150mm. The head tube is 1-1/8 and a threadless headset is included, the seat tube is 27.2mm, and the rear axle is 135mm (spacing measures 140mm, but fits 135mm bolt on well). There is currently a bottom bracket installed - I made a brief attempt to remove it and it didn't budge, a more concerted effort may be able to remove it. It rolls with a light roughness but is functionally smooth. The frame shows scratches and marks typical of use, but looks good overall.
