Eileen Lydia has a full set of adoption papers hat include:  Official Adoption Certificate dated October 3, 1980, with the official signature of Xavier Roberts; a Family History with the gold seal with foot and thumb prints on the reverse side; a greeting card and envelop sent from Babyland Hospital on Lydia's first birthday; and the Robert's signature on the doll's bottom.  Lydia's birthdate is 09/26/1980 and she is an authentic original "Little Person" created prior to when Xavier Roberts used the Cabbage Patch name in 1983.  See photos for reference to these described details.

The museum’s collection contains thousands of miniatures including room boxes, miniature houses, and exquisite individual items. Also included are collections that may be tiny or full size. The museum has been open to the public since 1993.
