Treatment script for an unproduced film science fiction film. Developed for David O. Selznick by Paul MacNamara, who worked as a publicity director on several Selznick projects, including "Duel in the Sun" (1946), "The Paradine Case" (1947), and "Portrait of Jennie" (1948).
A story about a New York City reporter who finds himself the only man left in town in the aftermath of a major storm. His investigations lead him to find one other survivor, a woman with whom he falls in love, then finally a team of mathematicians who are at work on a "God machine," five stories tall, that appears to run the entire universe.
