VINTAGE 1997 LITESPEED CATALYST TITANIUM ROAD BIKE FRAME 49cm SUPER EXCELLENT!

Available for auction is a v
intage 1997 Litespeed Catalyst titanium road bike frame, size 49 (seat tube center-top).  Its finish is the original satin, bare titanium gray.  I purchased this new in late 1998 from Colorado Cyclist and it was built by them with a full Dura Ace 9 speed groupset.  I rode this bike during the last few months of 1998 and through 1999 but job and family eventually took up my time and the bike was stored that year.  Last year I took the bike out of storage to refit the frame with updated components and sold off the Dura Ace parts but the Dura Ace headset remained and is still installed and included.  I find myself again with not enough time for road biking so I'm making the frame available here on eBay.  From what I read, 1997 was the last year for the Catalyst frame and differed from the previous years by having a larger diameter seat tube and integral, welded-on seat tube clamp for a cleaner look.  The seat tube clamp has an originally included Campagnolo binder bolt as shown.  Frame includes the original Kestrel carbon fiber fork, Shimano bottom bracket cable guide, and Shimano Dura Ace cable stop adjusters and all mounting hardware as shown.  Fork includes a Kestrel-specific front brake mounting nut as shown.  The frame has only about 1500 miles or so of use and was never ridden in the rain.  Check the pictures, all threads are sharp and clean, decals are intact with just a few small nicks and some very fine lines on some of the decals, and colors are bright.  Head tube badge is undamaged and has all of its original paint.  Fork has no nicks or scratches and there is no road debris damage on its inner, upper arch.  The only faults on this frame other than those on the decals are a few small scratches on the top tube, and some small shiny spots from cable rub on each of the lower sides of the head tube.  Hardware and parts included with the frame do have normal discoloration or wear from age.  The frame is in super excellent condition but it is sold As-Is.  The last picture shows the frame with seatpost, stem, and wheels attached to give you an idea of the geometry and what the bike would look like built up,
the seatpost, stem, and wheels are not included
.  The last picture does show a threadless stem installed, I had an Origin8 threadless stem adapter custom machined to fit the short head tube of this frame to allow the stem to be "slammed" all the way down.  This stem adapter is available in another auction.
