Wahl Eversharp Oversized Doric in Kashmir with Right Oblique Nib

Offered for sale is an Oversized Wahl Eversharp Doric 1st Generation fountain pen in Kashmir plastic with a rare Right Oblique Personal Point nib, ca. 1931.
This exceptional pen measures 5 3/4" capped and 6 3/4" with the cap posted. (The Parker Duofold Senior and Waterman Patrician are included in the third photo just for size comparison and are not included in this sale.)
This pen has no cracks, scratches, gouges, engraved named, removed engravings, crazing or crystallization. The imprint on the back of the cap is strong. Color is bright and even throughout, with just a hint of translucency at the very top and bottom of the pen, as shown in the photos. The plastic is stable; I have had this pen for a long time. The pen is fitted with a silicone sac to maintain color and stability. There are no cracks, hairlines or repaired cracks or hairlines in the cap lip or barrel threads. There is no brassing except for a tiny spot on the high point of the lever. Really a very clean pen.
The star of the show is the right-hand oblique nib. These Wahl-Eversharps had "Personal Point" replaceable nib units similar to Esterbrooks. The nib is gigantic with a huge amount of tipping. It writes with a special oblique line, with strong variation between vertical strokes and horizontal strokes. The nib is marked "OBLIQUE" and the feed is marked "R. OB". This is one of the hardest Personal Point variations to find.
