WAHL GOLD SEAL PERSONAL POINT DESK PEN, GREEN & GOLD, 3 RINGS, LF, GFT, c1929

Description

Here's a beautiful WAHL EVERSHARP GOLD SEAL desk pen in  green and gold. The pen is 8-7/16" long with triple ring gold filled hardware with a 4th ring separating the barrel and taper. The four rings on the pen, double check gold seal and the lever all have pristine gold finish. The color is outstanding and there are no flaws to the PRYALIN (plastic brand name). The section is hard rubber and toned a little and the taper does have a few scattered teeth mark. The
big
nib is marked WAHL, EVERSHARP, 14K, PERSONAL POINT, SIGNATURE. It's a fine rigid point with good iridium and straight tines. Well below the "SIGNATURE" on the nib, there is evident a short crack about 1/8" visible. The nib has not been removed, but it likely emanates from the base of the nib. In its present state it should have no effect on the operation of the pen, but to preserve the life of the nib, it probably should be sealed at some point. .
